A RICH HISTORY

Sarah is a resilient entrepreneur and a passionate homemaker fueled by a love for cooking. With Siika Foods, she aimed to provide an authentic and shelf-stable product line without sacrificing taste or quality.

Sarah is a born and raised Ugandan mother, who migrated to Canada in 2001. She creates an array of handmade simmer sauces, spice blends and marinades and is driven by her passion for preserving African cuisine. A busy mother and entrepreneur, Sarah was inspired to create convenience foods driven by a desire to create a family business around that passion. Her hope is that one day she will see her products on mainstream supermarket shelves alongside other ethnic specialties.

Siika Foods celebrates African food culture by connecting people through African-heritage inspired flavours. We are a purpose-driven specialty food brand that is bringing authentic African cuisine to the world through our uniquely authentic, and healthy African-related products.

With local farm-grown ingredients, we are producing small-batch, fair-trade, African sauces, hot sauces, and spices. We craft all our products with natural, preservative-free, vegan, and gluten-free ingredients. Spice, simmer, savour!
