Cooking has always been a part of my life — at first out of necessity, and later out of love. Growing up in Uganda, I quickly learned that knowing how to cook meant more than simply putting food on the table. It was a way to belong, to be cared for, and to contribute. Over time, I also came to treasure the hours spent in the kitchen with the women in my family and community, watching how food brought people together.

Those experiences shaped who I am and inspired me to create Siika Foods — a way to share the authentic, vibrant flavours of my heritage in sauces that make it easier for anyone to enjoy the tastes I grew up with.
Every jar is handcrafted in small batches with carefully selected, fresh ingredients. Our sauces are preservative-free, vegan, and gluten-free, because I believe food should be wholesome, natural, and full of flavour. For me, Siika is more than a food brand. It’s a celebration of African culture, a reflection of my journey, and an invitation to bring people together through flavour
